State-certified computer scientist

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The advanced training or training to become a state-certified computer scientist is a professional training or a school-based training course, which is regulated very differently depending on state law. However, the degrees are generally recognized nationwide.

Baden-Württemberg

In Baden-Württemberg it is a three-year initial training (vocational college) at the state academy for data processing in Böblingen . For admission, the Abitur or the subject-related higher education entrance qualification in a technical direction is required. The course is divided into a basic course (two semesters of teaching), an internship year and the specialist degree (two semesters of teaching in a subject of your choice, e.g. logistics).

Bavaria

The IT technician has been offered in Bavaria since the 2001/02 school year . In the 2009/10 school year this was possible at seven technical schools. The Bavarian teaching content of this professional training can be found on the website of the State Institute for School Quality and Educational Research Munich. In addition to the general subjects such as English, German, mathematics etc., the training is based on the pillars of operating system administration, communication and network technology, structured and object-oriented programming, databases and business processes. In Bavaria the designation is state-certified IT technician (or state-certified technician specializing in IT technology ). The advanced technical college entrance qualification can also be acquired with a supplementary examination in mathematics.

North Rhine-Westphalia

In North Rhine-Westphalia it can be two things:

The state-certified computer scientist at a technical school, similar to the one in Thuringia. It is a professional training at a technical school with a scope of at least 2400 hours, analogous to the state-certified technician. The technical school can be completed either in two years full-time or in four years part-time.

However, it can also be a school-based training at a vocational school (vocational college) with at least 2880 teaching hours. Then the complete designation is state-certified computer scientist multimedia (or medical economics or software technology or economics). The requirement for the course is the advanced technical college entrance qualification (school part).

Lower Saxony

In Lower Saxony , the training takes place as initial training at the two-year vocational school. The university entrance qualification (i.e. FHR) is required.

Thuringia

In Thuringia , it is a professional training at a technical school with a scope of at least 2400 hours, analogous to the state-certified technician . The technical school can be completed either in two years full-time or in four years part-time. In Thuringia, the content is technically or software-oriented.

recognition

Parts of the training or further training to become a state-certified computer scientist can be recognized after an individual examination at some universities and thus the study period may be shortened accordingly.
