The State Mints of Baden-Württemberg are owned by the State of Baden-Württemberg and form the largest minting company in Germany. 38% of the circulation coins and 40% of the collector coins are made here.

The two mints in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, which merged into one company in 1998, operate under this name.

Despite the merger, the mints have retained the different mint marks with the letters “G” (for the Karlsruhe State Mint ) and “F” (for the Stuttgart State Mint ).
