The Vladivostok State Medical University (Russian Владивостокский Государственный Медицинский Университет ) is a medical university in Vladivostok in the Russian Federation Far East .

history

The current university was founded in 1956 as the medical faculty of the Far Eastern State University in Vladivostok. Two years later the faculty became independent and renamed the State Medical Institute Vladivostok . In 1995 this institute received the status of a university.
