Stabbing the Drama is the sixth studio album by the Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork . It is the last album of the band in collaboration with Peter Wichers , who left the band after the following tour.

In terms of style, the album can be described as more versatile than previous ones (e.g. Figure Number Five ). Most of the songs were written by Peter Wichers, but keyboardist Sven Karlsson also contributed a part. For Dirk Verbeuren it is the first album with the Swedish band. Track 3 continues on track 4 on some CDs. A thousand copies were printed in a special box with the Soilworks logo.

Eduardo Rivadavia of Allmusic album called despite various influences to the nu metal and partly catchy hook lines heavier than the previous one. But nobody would be surprised by what is being heard here. He awarded four out of five stars.
