Dirk Verbeuren (* 1975 in Wilrijk , Belgium ) is a Belgian drummer .

biography

Verbeuren began to occupy himself with music in elementary school, he played the violin for seven years . His family moved to Paris in 1988, where he studied piano and electric guitar. In 1991 he discovered his talent as a drummer and started playing with other musicians.

In 1993 he moved to Nancy to learn drums at the Music Academy International (MAI). In October of the same year he founded the thrash metal band Scarve together with guitarist Patrick Martin . He also became a drum teacher at the MAI .

At times he was a session drummer for various metal bands such as Soilwork , Sybreed and Lyzanxia . He is now a regular drummer for Soilwork, Scarve , Megadeth and One Way Mirror .
