No More Mr. Nice Guy is a 1973 song by Alice Cooper from the album Billion Dollar Babies .

Cooper wrote the song against the background of reactions from his mother's church congregation, the v. a. criticized his appearance at the band's stage shows. Musically it should be like a carbon copy of The Who 's 1966 single Substitute and, according to Cooper's own statement, a tribute to songs like this one.

No More Mr. Nice Guy was the third single from the album Billion Dollar Babies . In Germany, the song stayed in the charts for 14 weeks, rising to number 10, while in Austria it was in the charts for eight weeks and reached number 14. In the United Kingdom , as with the two previously released singles Elected and Hello Hooray , a top 10 position was achieved again with No. 4. The song achieved another top 10 placement in the Netherlands .

No More Mr. Nice Guy was u. a. Covered by Megadeth for the soundtrack to the film Shocker and reached number 13 in the British charts. Pat Boone re- recorded the song for his 1997 album In a Metal Mood: No More Mr. Nice Guy .
