Flush the Fashion is Alice Cooper's twelfth studio album . It was released on April 28, 1980 and was produced by Roy Thomas Baker . In addition to Alice Cooper, Davey Johnstone and Fred Mandel were also involved in the songwriting .

Charts and reception

Flush the Fashion reached number 40 on the charts in the USA and number 56 in the United Kingdom. The album also reached number 34 in Sweden, 32 in Norway and 40 in New Zealand.

Greg Prato from Allmusic gave the album 2.5 out of 5 stars. Compared to the previous albums Lace and Whiskey and From the Inside , the sound of Flush the Fashion sounds smoother and more polished. Prato attributes this to producer Roy Baker, who replaced the guitar riffs that were typical for Cooper with synthesizers. He sees another reason for the atypical sound in Cooper's renewed alcoholism, which made Flush the Fashion and the following albums more unpredictable and less characteristic.
