Stadshagen is an underground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Stadshagen district . The station is served by the Blå linjen of the Stockholm metro system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the subway network. On a normal working day, 6,000 commuters get on here.
The station went into operation on August 31, 1975 when the first section of the Blå linjen between T-Centralen - Hjulsta was opened. The station was built using the cut-and-cover method. The station is located between the Fridhemsplan and Västra skogen stations . It is around 2.5 km to Stockholm Central Station .
