history

The Villa Bringfriede was built in the years 1877–1878 as a two-story cubic building with a flat hipped roof . With the restrained structure of the neo-renaissance and elements of classicism , the building - such as the house at Prinzregentenstrasse 20 - is designed in the style of the classicizing neo-renaissance. On the garden side there is a central risalit with a balcony supported by columns in Tuscan order .

The Bad Kissingen city archive and Section IV-2 Archive, Culture and Education have been housed in Villa Bringfriede since 1992 . The available archive area of 140 m² offers a storage capacity of 1,400 meters of shelving thanks to the space-saving sliding rack systems .
