Stamnen ( Norwegian for bug ) is a mountain in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It rises 1.5 km north of the Babordsranten ridge near the south-western end of the Ahlmannryggen .
Norwegian cartographers named the mountain descriptively and mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements by the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952).
