Stanislas Kaburungu

Stanislas Kaburungu (born October 7, 1935 in Gisanze ) is former bishop of Ngozi .

Life

Stanislas Kaburungu was ordained a priest on September 3, 1961 and was incardinated in the clergy of the diocese of Ngozi . Pope Paul VI appointed him on September 5, 1968 Bishop of Ngozi.

The Archbishop of Gitega , André Makarakiza MAfr , consecrated him bishop on January 25 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Joseph Martin MAfr, Bishop of Bururi , and Nestor Bihonda , Bishop of Muyinga .

He resigned from his office on December 14, 2002.
