Aldona Staponkienė
Aldona Staponkienė (born September 3, 1949 in Salovartė , Varėna district ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from the Varėna Middle School in 1967 , she graduated from the Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas with a law degree in 1972 .
From 1972 to 1994 she worked in the Ministry of Interior of the USSR and in the Ministry of Interior of Lithuania . She was promoted to lieutenant colonel. She has been a pensioner since 1994. From 1994 to 1997 she was a lawyer at AB “Vakarų bankas”, from 1997 to 2004 department director at UAB “ Vakarų Lietuvos pramonės ir finansų korporacija ”, and in 2004 director at UAB “Naftos gavyba”. From 2004 to 2008 she was a member of the Seimas .
From 2000 she was a member of the Valstiečių ir Naujosios democijos partijų sąjunga , from 2005 the Lietuvos valstiečių liaudininkų sąjunga .
She is married and has two kids.
