similarities

The original, English version is also one of many entry-level games set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe . In the German translation, however, a new child-friendly background was created. Perhaps this was done to defuse the rather brutal Warhammer 40,000 backdrop. In the German version, all of the GSG's weapons are not lethal.

The Galaxy Safe Guard troops (Crack Squad): GSG-19 , GSG-Tigers and GSG-Musketeers are the Space Marines known from Warhammer 40,000 in the original version . The following 3 Space Marine Orders are represented in the game:

  • GSG-19 from the Ultramarines
  • GSG musketeers from the Imperial Fists
  • GSG Tigers from the Blood Angels

There were also some adjustments to the German version on the opponent's side (alien player) .

  • The androids are 40,000 Chaos Androids in Warhammer. They are often mistakenly mistaken for Necrons .
  • The Space Orks have kept their name, but the Gridlings are called Grotze (formerly Gretchins) in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
  • The clones are the Genräuber symbiont of Tyranids breed of animals.
  • The Chaos Fighters are in the original Chaos Warriors of the Chaos Space Marines , traitors of the Space Marines who have sided with Chaos .
  • The dreadnought is a chaos dreadnought or a chaos cybot.
