Anić, who competes for SK Sarajevo-Istocno Sarajevo, took part in the Balkan Cup for the first time in Pale in March 2013 and finished 20th in the 10 km freestyle. At the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival 2015 in Steg he came in 76th place in sprint and 68th place over 7.5 km freestyle and at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun on 108th place over 15 km freestyle. In the 2018/19 season he achieved six top ten placements, including two second places in Sjenica over 10 km freestyle, third place in the overall ranking of the Balkan Cup. At the season highlight, the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , he finished 93rd in the sprint.
