Stefan Castrischer (born March 20, 1992 ) is a Swiss floorball player on the position of defender . Castrischer is the National League A -Verein Floorball Köniz under contract.

Career

Castrischer went through the junior division of Floorball Köniz before he made his debut for the first team in the 2012/13 season. He previously played in the Bernese U21 team. However, he was called up for partial assignments in the first team. Since playing in the first team, Bern's defense has improved significantly. Since then he has developed into an undisputed regular player.

In 2016 he won the Swiss Cup with Floorball Köniz. The defensive with Castrischer has above all prevented the attacking player from GC Unihockey around their star player Kim Nilsson.

On February 23, 2017, the sports director of Floorball Köniz announced that the contract with the defensive player had been extended. Thus, in 2017/18 he will contest his 6th season in the dress of the Bernese. With Floorball Köniz, he won the Swiss championship in the 2017/18 season with a 5-2 victory over SV Wiler-Ersigen in the superfinal. National team

Castrischer was active in the Swiss U19 national team. With this he took part in the Euro Floorball Tour in 2009. In 2011 he was on the squad for the U19 World Cup in Weissenfels , where Switzerland won bronze. Castrischer contributed two assists.
