Stefan Chmielewski (born January 21, 1968 in Oberhausen ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Club career

In his youth, Chmielewski played with his twin brother Torsten for VfB Speldorf , Rot-Weiß Oberhausen and MSV Duisburg , from which the brothers moved to Bayer 05 Uerdingen in 1983 . He was part of the Bundesliga squad of the 1986/87 season and 1987/88 season for the Krefeld team , but was not used. After moving to Rot-Weiss Essen , he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga on July 26, 1988 in an away game at SC Freiburg. After four years at RWE, he moved to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in 1992 and to Schwarz-Weiß Essen in the Oberliga Nordrhein in 1994 .

National team

Stefan was appointed to the youth national team by the DFB. In the U-18 national team he played three times with his brother Torsten.
