Stefan Eder (born September 24, 1981 in Lamprechtshausen ) is an Austrian show jumper .

In November 2012 he was at number 124 in the world rankings.

Career

Eder began to ride at the age of four and mainly rode dressage up to the age of 12.

In 2006 he became Austrian champion. At the European Championships in 2007, he finished eleventh with the team.

At the European Championships in Madrid in 2011 , he finished second in the time jumping with his best horse Chilli van Dijk , but after 16 fault points in the second partial test, Eder slipped to 48th place in the individual ranking. With the team (Christian Schranz, Christian Fries) he finished 13th overall.

Eder, who has been training under Thomas Frühmann since 2010 , had his horses on Sepp Göllner's facility in Lamprechtshausen.
