Stefan Fengler (born April 2, 1968 in Dortmund ) is a former German soccer player .

He came to SG Wattenscheid 09 in the 2nd Bundesliga via SF Sölderholz, SV Holzwickede and Borussia Dortmund II .

From the 1997/1998 season to 2005/2006 he played 232 second division games and scored 8 goals for Wattenscheid and LR Ahlen . There he played as a left defender , having played in midfield at the beginning of his career . With the Ahlenern he was team captain . After the 2006/2007 season he returned to his former club SV Holzwickede to continue playing in the district league. Fengler ended his active career there in 2010.

Fengler is left-footed and trained as an electrical engineer .
