Stefan Fricke (born February 22, 1962 in Bonn ) is a German politician of the Pirate Party . After the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia from 2012 to 2017, he was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament .

Life

Stefan Fricke was born with thalidomide damage . In 2009 he appeared in the documentary NoBody's Perfect . Before becoming a member of parliament, Fricke worked as a freelance information technician .

In 2006 Fricke became a member of the Pirate Party. He ran as a direct candidate in the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2010 and the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2012 in the state electoral district of Cologne VII , receiving 1.7% and 9.6% of the first votes. In the state elections in 2010, he was in 13th place on the state list, as well as in the state elections in 2012. In 2012, he moved into the state parliament, to which he was a member until the end of the legislative period.

With the end of the electoral term and the failure of the Pirate Party at the 5% in the state elections in North Rhine-Westphalia in 2017 , Fricke left the state parliament.
