Stefan Jonovic (born February 8, 1996 ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Jonovic began his career at FK Austria Wien , where he later played in the academy. With the U-19 team of Austria, he took part in the 2013/14 season in the UEFA Youth League , where they reached the round of 16.

In October 2013 he was against SC Ritzing for the first time in the squad of amateurs of Austria. In March 2014, he made his debut in the Regionalliga when he was in the starting line-up against 1. SC Sollenau on matchday 17 of the 2013/14 season . He scored his first goal in the Regionalliga in the same month in a 6-0 win against ATSV Ober-Grafendorf .

After more than 80 games for the amateurs of Austria, he was in the professional squad for the first time in May 2017 against FC Admira Wacker Mödling . With the second team of Austria Jonovic rose to the second division in the 2017/18 season .

He made his debut in the second-highest division in July 2018 when he was in the starting line-up against Kapfenberger SV on matchday one of the 2018/19 season.

After 16 years with Austria, he moved to the regional league team FC Marchfeld Donauauen for the 2020/21 season .
