Waldo (in documents Walto ; † probably May 17, 949 ) was Bishop of Chur and Abbot of Pfäfers and Disentis .

He was a maternal nephew of Bishops Waldo von Freising and Solomon III. from Constance . Probably in 909 he transferred Pfäfers Monastery to St. Gallen Abbey on condition that it and Waldo be used for life. In 915 Waldo was first named as the abbot of Disentis Monastery.

In 920 Waldo was named as Bishop of Chur and Abbot of Pfäfers in a legal dispute between this monastery and St. Gallen. In 926 he was at the imperial assembly of Heinrich I in Worms . Waldo had a good relationship with Duke Burchard of Swabia and the kings Heinrich I and Otto I. In 940 he was mentioned for the last time in a deed of donation from Otto I for the Chur monastery.

He is said to have died on May 17, 949.
