Erich Wenneker

Erich Wenneker (* 1960 in Detmold ) is a German Protestant pastor and church historian.

Wenneker studied Protestant theology from 1981 and has been pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hanover since 1990 , most recently in the parish of Langenholzen-Sack-Hörsum-Eimsen in Alfeld (Leine) . In 2013 he was supposed to be pastor of the Zernez / Brail-Susch pastoral community in Graubünden , but had to do without for personal reasons. He is also head of the Huguenot library at the German Huguenot Center in Bad Karlshafen . He has made significant contributions to the history of the Swiss Reformation , especially on the Canton of Graubünden , and is the author of over 300 articles in the Biographical-Bibliographical Church Lexicon (BBKL).
