Stefanöffelhardt

Stefanöffelhardt (* 1959 in Biberach ) is a German sculptor . He develops sculptural, photographic and graphic landscapes.

life and work

After training as a sculptor (1982–1985), he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . There he was among other things a student with Günther Uecker . In parallel to his sculptural work, which includes installations and sculptures, Stefan Löffelhardt creates photographic compositions. He often speaks on the theme of the landscape, which he combines with the materials (packaging film, wood , plaster of paris , wire, glass, etc.) of the urban and industrial environment. Since 2008, large-format pencil drawings have also been added to the repertoire of his artistic work.

Öffelhardt's works are part of international private and institutional collections.

Öffelhardt lives and works in Düsseldorf .
