Murray Guy Gallery

The Murray Guy Gallery (Murray Guy for short) is a contemporary visual arts gallery in New York on the west bank of Manhattan in Chelsea , 453 West 17th Street. The gallery was founded in 1998 by the owners Margaret Murray and Janice Guy. It presents photographs , videos , sculptures , drawings , paintings , compositions and literature on the industries listed.

Born in Germany in 1953 American photographer Janice Guy learned their craft in the 1970s with Bernd and Hilla Becher at the Dusseldorf Art Academy and studied at Loughborough University and at the University of Sunderland , the specialist art and design .

The curator Sonel Breslav and the photographer Fabiana Viso still work in the gallery . Fabiana Viso, born in Caracas in 1981, is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art .
