Kota Ezawa
Kota Ezawa (* 1969 in Cologne ) is a German computer graphic artist , multimedia artist and avant-garde filmmaker who is an Associate Professor of Media Art at the California College of the Arts in San Francisco .
Career
Kota Ezawa, the son of Kennosuke Ezawa , studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy from 1990–1994 . There he was a master class video and media artist with the South Korean Nam June Paik in 1995 . He then studied contemporary art in the USA : He graduated from the San Francisco Art Institute - also in 1995 - with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Stanford University in 2003 with a Master of Fine Arts .
His drawings are based on the photo, using vector graphics and image processing software.
