Stefan Meierhans

Stefan Meierhans (born August 23, 1968 in Altstätten ) is a Swiss politician ( CVP ) and price monitor .

Life

Meierhans was on the staff of the Head of the Federal Department of Justice and Police (FDJP) for six years . He then worked at Microsoft Switzerland as a consultant for political affairs ( Lead Corporate Affairs and Citizenship ). On June 18, 2008, the Federal Council appointed him price watchdog on October 1, 2008.

Meierhans is a member of the board of directors of the CVP of the Canton of Bern and has a doctorate in law ( University of Basel , Nordic Sales Law - History and Present of Nordic Sales Law, especially in Sweden and Norway. With an introduction to the Nordic Code of Obligations and an outline of the new one Nordic sales law ).

Meierhans is married to the politician Béatrice Wertli . They have two daughters together and live in Bern.
