Stefan Monhardt

Stefan Monhardt (* 1963 in Calw ) is a German writer and translator .

life and work

Stefan Monhardt studied German and Classical Philology at the University of Tübingen and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa . From 1995 to 2000 he worked as a research assistant for Greek studies at the Humboldt University in Berlin . He lives as a freelance writer , director and translator in Berlin. His poems have been published in numerous magazines (including Allmende , Neue Rundschau , Noisma ). In addition to poetry , he mainly writes essays . He also works for Deutschlandradio Kultur .
