Stefan Riss

Stefan Riße (* 1968 in Bremen ) is a German stock market journalist, author and former asset manager .

Life

Born and raised in Bremen, Riße has been involved with stocks and investments since he was 17 . After graduating from high school , he worked as a securities dealer for two years and then switched to journalism (including Focus , Forbes Magazine and stock exchange correspondent at n-tv ). From 2006 to 2011 he was chief strategist of the German branch of the CFD broker CMC Markets , from March to May 2016 he was employed in the same position at Ayondo markets. In the meantime, he also worked as an asset manager. On June 29, 2012, the Riße Inflation Opportunities investment fund (WKN A1JUWR) was launched. After initial gains, this fund was liquidated on April 6, 2016 with a loss of almost 50 percent.

From 2015 to 2017 Riße was represented on a social trading platform. Other users could assign their own capital to them with a click of the mouse and then copy their investments.

According to his own statement, he has been working for ACATIS Investment KVG mbH since 2018.
