Stefan singer

Stefan Sänger (* 1959 ) is a former German basketball player .

Life

Singer played until 1977 in the youth and men's team of SC Rist Wedel . In 1974 he was invited to a course of the German national cadet team. He moved to Hamburg TB , for which he played in the 2nd basketball league  and in the basketball  league, then he went to study in Florence , Italy , where he also played basketball.

In 1987 the 1.88 meter tall player rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with the Berlin club Neuköllner Sportfreunde. There he managed with the team, which at the time also included players like Frank Menz , Frank Müller , Peter Kortmann and Detlef Kornett , in the 1987/88 season. Then singer retired to the second team of Berlin.
