Stefan Tidow

Stefan Tidow (born July 14, 1967 in Hanover ) is a German political scientist. Since 2016 he has been State Secretary in the Senate Department for Environment, Transport and Climate Protection in Senate Müller II .

biography

Tidow studied political science, economics and education at the University of Marburg , where he worked from 1997 to 1999 as a research assistant at the Institute for Political Science.

He then moved to Berlin, initially from 2000 as a research assistant to Christian Sterzing , member of the Bundestag , then as Claudia Roth's office manager . He then joined the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety in 2003. Here he was employed in the ministerial office and later in the policy department “Environment and Economy”. In 2008, Tidow returned to the Bundestag faction of Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen, from 2009 to 2011 as office manager for Jürgen Trittin . When the red-green state government in Rhineland-Palatinate took office in 2011, he switched to the state's representation at the federal government, where he was the permanent representative for the commissioner from 2012 to 2016. Since December 2016 he has been State Secretary in the Berlin Senate Department for the Environment, Transport and Climate Protection, with responsibility for the environment and climate protection.
