Stefan Walz

Stefan Walz (* 1963 ) is a Swiss actor . His most famous role is the character of a taxi driver resembling Sigmund Jähn in the film Good Bye, Lenin! .

Life

Stefan Walz studied acting at the Bern Conservatory . From 1992 to 1998 he was engaged at the Small Theater Kammerspiele Landshut and belongs to the founding ensemble of the Kammerspiele Landshut. He has been working for television since 1995 . From 1998–2006 he played in various engagements in Essen , Munich and Hamburg . From 2006-2014 he was part of the ensemble at the Mainz State Theater . Stefan Walz has been a member of the Wuppertaler Bühnen ensemble since the 2014/2015 season . There he stands u. a. as "Paul Werner, former sergeant of the major" in Lessing's "Minna von Barnhelm" on stage. He currently lives in Wuppertal .

In addition to his acting activities, he has long been singing in various jazz and rock groups. He is also a master of various instruments such as guitar , bass , banjo and mandolin . In addition to music , his hobbies include skiing and martial arts .
