Stefanie Rothweiler (born July 28, 1979 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German sailor. In 2006 and 2007 she became European Champion.

With the 470 dinghy and Monika Leu as crew, Rothweiler finished fourth at the 2001 World Championships and came second at the Kiel Week . In the following year she was fifth in the world championship, at the Kiel Week she finished second again. In 2003 she finished sixth at the World Cup. At the 2004 Olympic Regatta , Rothweiler and Leu took 15th place.

In 2006 Rothweiler won the European Championship together with her new crewmate Vivien Kussatz , and a year later she was able to defend this title. At the 2008 World Cup, the two finished 13th. At the 2008 Summer Olympics , they finished 9th.

Stefanie Rothweiler's mother is the sister of the 1976 Olympic champions, Jörg and Eckart Diesch . Eckart Diesch is President of the Württemberg Yacht Club , where Rothweiler began her career and for which she is still starting today, even though she now lives in Munich.
