Stefanie Stahl (born December 27, 1963 in Hamburg ) is a German psychologist , therapist and author .

Life

Her parents were the lawyer Walter Stahl and the alternative practitioner Mona Stahl. In 1983 she graduated from the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium . From 1984 to 1990 Stefanie Stahl studied psychology at the University of Trier . She works as a psychotherapist in her own practice and as a book author. Until 2014 she also worked as a psychological expert at court. She also holds seminars in German-speaking countries on the subject of fear of attachment and self-esteem .

Stahl started writing in 2003. She wrote her first book So am I together with her friend Melanie Alt. It appeared in 2005 and was revised again by Stahl in 2016.
