Stefano Fanucci (born January 21, 1979 in Rome ) is an Italian central defender . He has played in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione at Cosenza Calcio since 2009 .
Fanucci's career began promisingly with an engagement at AS Roma , but he didn't get a chance there. He had to go to a Serie C club , Teramo Calcio , where he played 22 times. After a short interlude at Savoia , he then moved to AS Livorno , where he was only used as a reserve player . In the summer of 2007 he moved to AC Ancona , followed a year later with the transfer to AC Arezzo the next club change. After his contract with Arezzo expired, the defender signed for third division club Cosenza Calcio.
