Stefano Guberti (born November 6, 1984 in Sesto San Giovanni ) is an Italian soccer player who has been under contract with Sampdoria Genoa in Serie A since 2010 .
Career
Stefano Guberti started his career at the lower class amateur club Asseminese in Sardinia. In 2003 he was bought by ASD Torres Calcio , also a Sardinian amateur club, and used in the Primavera championship . In the following season he was awarded to Polisportiva Alghero in Serie D. After returning to Torres, he was able to establish himself as a regular player in the Sardinian team. In the summer of 2006, the Serie A club Ascoli Calcio signed him . In his first season with Ascoli, he already received 22 appearances in the top Italian division and scored one goal, but rose to Serie B with Ascoli at the end of the season .
While he ran up in 40 league games for the team in the 2007/08 season and scored seven goals, he played only a few games in the following season. At the beginning of February 2009, AS Bari announced the commitment of the midfield player. He signed a contract with the Galletti until the end of the season. Although he was able to convince in Bari and with his goals also had a share in the rise of AS Bari to Serie A, his contract was not extended at the end of June 2009 and he then moved to the capital for AS Roma . After six league games for Roma, he was transferred to Sampdoria Genoa on January 11, 2010 on loan .
In August 2010, Guberti was definitely signed by Sampdoria Genoa.
