At the 2003 World Championships in Castione della Presolana , Strazzabosco finished 18th in the giant slalom and 19th in the Super-G.

The Italian achieved his best result in the overall World Cup in the 2004 season . With tenth place in the combination of Forni di Sopra , two twelfth places in the second slalom of L'Aquila and in the Super-G of Nové Město na Moravě and another three placements among the fastest 25, he reached 16th overall. In the 2005 season, Strazzabosco was among the fastest 20 in all six World Cup races and, as in the previous year, achieved tenth place in the combination of Forni di Sopra as the best result, which brought him to 17th place in the overall World Cup. At the 2005 World Championships in Dizin, he was among the fastest 30 in all competitions, with his best result being 20th in the giant slalom. He also achieved his best result at the Italian Championships in 2005 with fifth place in the Super-G. The 2006 season was Strazzabosco's last.
