The steep Holding GmbH is the leading company of the steep Group , a business group of the recycling industry with headquarters in Trier .
Group of companies
The company was founded in 1924 as a scrap dealer. In 1964 it was taken over by Heinrich Gondert and expanded into a nationwide group of companies.
The largest company in the group is Theo Steil GmbH Schrott- und Metallgroßhandel . which deals with the recycling of scrap and metals , their further processing and the return of raw materials to the material cycle. The classic trade in these materials is also part of the company's portfolio. Other companies in the group are Steil Disposal GmbH (waste disposal and trading in waste paper) and Gotra GmbH (transport).
