The Hohenäcker quarry , also known as the Bötzel quarry , is a geotope in Rodenbach, northwest of Frankenberg (Eder) , Hesse. It was operated by the Bötzel & Co. brickworks. Until around the end of the 1990s, clays and marl were mined as aggregates for brick production.

The quarry is a site for fossils from the Upper Permian (about 272 to 251 million years ago). In 2018, the GeoPark GrenzWelten set up a Geo-Station with information boards and exhibits in the entrance area.
