Rodenbach is a district of Frankenberg (Eder) in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Hesse . The place is northwest of the main town.

There is no classified road through the town.

A first mention of Rodenbach is not known. The place was only mentioned in the 16th century, when a Frankenberg office was established again, in which, in addition to the city, the former Georgenberg monastery, the Rodenbach farm and the Wiesenfeld winery were united. In 1777 the Rodenbach farm (curia dicta Radenbach) was converted into a village.

On 31 December 1970 Rodenbach was in the course of administrative reform in Hesse on a voluntary basis in the city Frankenberg (Eder) (former spelling Frankenberg-Eder ) incorporated .
