The nature reserve quarry south of Berge is located in the municipality of Anröchte in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia . The area extends on the southern outskirts of Berge , a district of Anröchte. The state road L 735 runs not far to the east and the L 747 to the north. To the east extends the 474 hectare nature reserve valley system of the Pöppelsche with the Hoinkhauser Bach .
