The quarry nature reserve northeast of Anröchte is located in the municipality of Anröchte in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia .
The area extends north of the core municipality of Anröchte. Not far to the west runs the state road L 734, the A 44 runs north. The 7.24 hectare oak-hornbeam forest north of Anröchte extends not far to the north.
