Stone Cross Regensburger Strasse (Feucht)
The stone cross on Regensburger Straße is a historic stone cross in the market town of Feucht in the Middle Franconian district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria .

The stone cross is located in the local area of Feucht in front of the Regensburger Strasse 12 property and the corner of Bogenstrasse . It stands there in a narrow strip of green, framed by two supply boxes between the garden fence and the sidewalk.

The massive looking atonement cross made of sandstone is about 85 cm high, 110 cm wide and 43 cm deep. There is a 6 cm deep and 1.5 by 1.5 cm large hole on the head.
History and legend
The relic is probably from the late Middle Ages and was designated as an architectural monument (D-5-74-123-38) by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation . Legend has it that a fiery poodle sits here at night and accompanies the hiker to the Steinkreuz am Kirchbühl . There he turns back with loud barking. There are other similar folk tales about the poodle . It appears as a spirit animal and a ghostly phenomenon. Thus, as in Goethe's Faust , the devil likes to take the form of a black poodle. The fiery poodle has glowing eyes and is often the keeper of treasure.
