The Steinrondavel ( English Stone Rondavel ) is a historic Rondavel 28 kilometers from the Namibian village Aroab the Square and near the main road C16 to farm source location located.
It has been a National Monument of Namibia since March 15, 1969 .
The round stone rondavel has a diameter of about 7–8 meters. The stones of the scaffolding are still visible on the roof. It has a small window and door. The roof consists of flat stones 3–5 centimeters thick. The walls are plastered with clay and dung , later expanded with lime and sand. The building was erected in 1900 by Fritz Engels from the South African Republic , who used it as a house and warehouse.
