Der Steinsteinen is a nunatak in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . It is the largest of the Sørensen Nunatakker in the Drygalski Mountains of Orvinfjella .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped the mountain using aerial photographs and measurements made by the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960). It is named after Stein Sørensen (* 1921), a radio operator on this research trip from 1956 to 1958.
