Stella Maris Church

Stella-Maris-Kirche , also Maria-Meeresstern-Kirche , is a name for Catholic churches. The patronage Stella maris (Latin for star of the sea ) was popular with seafarers. Churches with this name are therefore mostly in port or coastal cities.
