Stella Luncke

Stella Luncke (* 1974 in Kassel ) is a German journalist , writer and radio play director.

Life

Stella Luncke studied modern German literature and theater, film and television studies in Berlin . During her studies, she was already working as a freelance writer for the feature and radio play editorial team at Deutschlandradio Kultur . Since graduating, she has been writing and producing pieces for various public radio stations together with Josef Maria Schäfers , including DLR, WDR, SWR, DLF and NDR.

Awards

In 2004, Stella Luncke and Josef Maria Schäfers received the main prize in the RBB radio play competition “Kurz und gut” for small talk . The statement of the jury stated: "This extremely successful piece really deserves the honorary title of experiment, it breaks into new territory: namely on the tightrope between poetry and truth."

In 2009 Stella Luncke was awarded the 1st prize of the Kurt Magnus Prize . With the 7,000 euro prize, the jury recognized the ingenuity in the feature category, for example their "throwing broadcasts" in Deutschlandradio Kultur (short radio play series with original sounds). In 2014 she received a work grant from the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW for her radio play Lissy . Together with her team of authors, Schäfers, she won the ARD Pinball 2015 for her short radio play Where are they? .
