The Stenersenknatten ( Norwegian ) is an 870 m high nunatak in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises in the northwestern part of the Lingetoppane in Fimbulheimen .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1969. It is named after Tor Greiner Stenersen (1917–1944), a resistance fighter in the Norwegian Independent Company No. 1 against the German occupation of Norway in World War II , which was killed by the occupiers on April 2, 1944 while trying to escape.
