Stephan Blum

Stephan WE Blum (born January 26, 1970 in Calw ) is a German archaeologist .

Life

He studied prehistoric archeology, classical archeology and ancient history at the University of Tübingen . Since 1997 he has been employed at the University of Tübingen as part of Manfred Korfmann's Troy project in the Turkish province of Çanakkale . In 2011 he did his doctorate on the topic “The ending early and beginning middle Bronze Age in Troia: An analysis of selected findings and finds from the periods Troia IV and Troia V” with Ernst Pernicka .

Blum is currently working on the Middle Chalcolithic settlement of the Troas .
