Stephan Eggert

Stephan "Stoppel" Eggert (born September 15, 1967 ) is a German drummer.

Stephan Eggert was a member of the Hamburg band Selig from its founding in 1992 until its dissolution in 1999 . In 1999 he founded the remix project Saunaclub together with the Selig keyboardist Malte Neumann . After Neumann left, Eggert continued to work under the name DJ Egg . Together with the Selig frontman Jan Plewka he played in the band Zinoba until 2005 and since then with TempEau . Stephan Eggert has also been part of James Last's live band for a number of years and supported The Boy with the guitar . Since the reunification of the band Selig in autumn 2008, Stoppel has been a member again. Since 2014 he has also been drumming in Daniel Malheur's band The Heaven And Hell Orchestra .

In addition to his music career, Eggert had an engagement at the Hamburger Schauspielhaus.
