Stephan Graf von Spee

Stephan Rudolf Hubertus Maria Konrad Liborius Graf von Spee (born July 23, 1944 ) is a German member of the Maltese .

Life

Graf von Spree was born as the son of Ferdinand Graf von Spree (1908–1980) and Huberta Baroness von Twickel. He is the grandson of Stephan von Spee . From 1982 to 2006 he was a member of the church council of his home parish St. Antonius Einsiedler in Finnentrop - Heggen . In 1984 he married Gabriele Freiin von Boeselager (* 1956 in Ankum) and has five children with her. He lives at Ahausen Castle and has been running the Heltorf Forestry Company since the death of his father in 1980. He was a member of the Finnentrop city council and the district council in Olpe .

Since 1968 he has been a member of the Malteser Aid Service. From 1998 to 2009 he was deputy diocesan director in the Archdiocese of Paderborn. From 2005 he was acting diocesan leader in the Archdiocese of Paderborn . Between 2009 and 2011 he was elected diocesan leader. Between 2009 and 2014 he was the leader of the Lourdes pilgrimage with more than 800 participants.
